Service League Centennial Solstice Celebration

This year marks a special one for the Service League of Crystal Lake, for it was in 1925 that four woman began meeting in the newly refurbished and expanded Crystal Lake Country Club, now known as the Dole Mansion. Back then, they called themselves the South Shore Sewing Circle and they helped many in the community by providing coal heat, food, blankets, and toys to needy families in Crystal Lake.

ONE HUNDRED YEARS LATER, the tradition of helping those in need within our community lives on through efforts of the hard-working women of the Service League of Crystal Lake. This year, we honor the four wonderful women who, 100 years ago, saw a need and jumped in to help. It is that same spirit that guides the Service League's mission to this day. Join us on the front lawn of the Dole Mansion for our Centennial Solstice Celebration. There will be food, music, and fun for the whole family, along with many special touches to make the evening especially memorable. The evening ends with an after party in the mansion! You won't want to miss this once in a lifetime event.

All proceeds from this event will be used to fund the Service League's charitable endeavors and help us realize our goals and mission - "To provide discreet, direct, short-term assistance to residents in our community who need immediate aid."
